Three people hospitalized in serious Maple Valley crash

MAPLE VALLEY, WA — Three people were injured in a serious vehicle crash in the Maple Valley area on Wednesday morning, according to Q13 Fox.

The crash occurred at approximately 9:00 a.m. within the 31000 block of Maple Valley Black Diamond Road, as reported by Puget Sound Fire.

All three people hurt were transported from the scene, one of them requiring airlift to the hospital for treatment.

Following the crash, State Route 169 closed down as Puget Sound Energy worked to repair a damaged utility pole.

The incident is under investigation with assistance from the Washington State Patrol. Updates are forthcoming as the story develops.
