AUBURN, WA – Over a thousand customers were left without power when the driver of a stolen car crashed into a power pole in Auburn on Wednesday.

According to the Auburn Examiner, the driver was headed north on R Street NE when they lost control and crashed near 6th Street NE at about 3 a.m. The 2008 Honda Pilot struck the base of the pole then spun 180 degrees into a stump in the front lawn of a private residence.
