Teenage bicyclist struck and injured by car on US-101 in Port Angeles
Request Free ConsultationPORT ANGELES, WA — A 14-year-old girl was injured Saturday afternoon after being struck by a car while biking across Highway 101 in Port Angeles, according to Radio Pacific, Inc. for MyClallamCounty.com.
The Washington State Patrol said the teenager was crossing the highway by bicycle at Blue Mountain Road around 1:30 p.m when she was hit by an eastbound Honda Civic.
The girl was taken to Harborview Medical Center. As of Friday afternoon, her condition was listed as stable.
The 18-year-old driver and her passengers were not reported injured in the accident. The driver had pulled over immediately after the crash and alerted authorities.
No other information has been reported.
