Teen driver in stolen SUV kills two in Seattle

SEATTLE, WA – A teenage driver in a stolen SUV fled from police and collided with a car near the 4300 block of S. Othello Street Friday morning, killing two people inside the other vehicle.

According to KOMO News, the accident happened at around 3 a.m. Police spotted the stolen car heading west on Othello St and attempted to pull it over, but the 18-year-old driver sped off, running a red light and hitting a Toyota Camry in the process.

A female passenger in the Camry died immediately, while the male driver died from injuries at Harborview Medical Center.

The driver of the stolen vehicle was arrested and will be charged with two counts of vehicular homicide.
