Sumner, Washington – Bicyclist Dies from Injuries in Hit-and-Run

Sumner, Washington(July 25, 2019) – A bicyclist died from injuries sustained in a hit and run incident on Thursday night. The victim, a man believed to be in his 50s, was found lying on the 5400 block of West Valley Highway East. He was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries on Friday morning.

The man was found around 11 p.m. on Thursday night. Investigators have stated that the man did not appear to be wearing a helmet. There are no details yet on the hit and run, but anyone with information is encouraged to call the Sumner Police Department.
