State Route 512 at Interstate 5 closed due to wildfire

LAKEWOOD, WA – State Route 512 at Interstate 5 was shut down due to a brush fire on Tuesday, according to the Washington State Patrol.

State Trooper Ryan Burke reported the closure at 1:24 p.m., saying the fire had spread to both sides of the highway.

Fire crews were at the scene to extinguish it, but travelers were encouraged to pursue alternate routes.
