State Patrol searching for driver who struck pedestrian on I-5
Request Free ConsultationTACOMA, WA – The Washington State Patrol is asking the public for information regarding a vehicle striking a woman walking on I-5 northbound near 56th St on Wednesday morning.
According to witnesses, the suspect’s vehicle is a silver Nissan Altima that is possibly missing its right side mirror. Troopers responded to the scene of the accident around 6:20 a.m. according to KOMO News. The pedestrian was in critical condition and taken to St. Joseph Medical Center.
A witness told authorities that the driver of the Nissan initially stopped after they struck the pedestrian, but was gone when police arrived.
