Spokane, Washington – One Person Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision

Spokane, Washington (February 11, 2020) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision that occcurred on North Monroe Street and West Rowan Avenue on Tuesday afternoon. According to the article from The Spokesman-Review, one person was hospitalized for a broken arm in the incident. No other injuries were reported in the incident.

The crash was reported after 4:40 p.m. The cause and circumstances of the incident were not reported, but the crash caused a power pole to be knocked down, also downing power lines in the process. The incident also caused all southbound lanes to be blocked, and only one northbound lane was open.

In rollover collisions, the car will come to rest on its side or roof, resulting in a dangerous situation which passengers might need to be extricated from. In side collisions, the greatest risk comes to the passenger on the particular side that received the impact. No matter the type of accident, all crashes are bound to cause a dreadful situation for all involved.
