TACOMA, WA – A suspect in a speeding vehicle hit multiple cars before losing control and rolling onto railroad tracks near the intersection of East 72nd and McKinley Avenue on Thursday.
KOMO reports that the male suspect and a female passenger were speeding north on McKinley when they hit a minivan, which in turn hit another car. The suspect kept driving before sideswiping another car and rolling onto nearby railroad tracks, which caused the suspect’s car to catch fire.
The suspect driver and passenger were taken to an area hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening. The occupants of the other vehicles involved were not badly injured.
