SEATTLE, WA – Several people suffered minor injuries after being hit by a driver who was performing stunts on Broad Street right below the Space Needle on Saturday night.
According to KOMO News, at least a few dozen people attended an impromptu gathering of car enthusiasts who showed off their vehicles and tricks, including “drifting.” A video of the incident shows a red Chevrolet Camaro drifting in circles, surrounded by a large crowd of people. The back of the vehicle got too close to the crowd and collided with several spectators.
KOMO News reported that it took Seattle Police about an hour and a half to arrive at the gathering, and that no one was arrested.
