Semi truck strikes Trooper patrol car in Spokane

According to KIMA, the accident occurred early Sunday morning when the Trooper, whose identity has not been released, was parked on the right shoulder of I-90. State Trooper Jeff Sevigney said the victim was injured but is home now and expected to make a full recovery.
The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured. Washington State Troopers have not released yet whether they intend to issue a citation to the semi-truck driver.
