Semi-truck driver injured in fiery I-90 crash

EASTON, WA – The driver of a semi-truck was injured Friday in a fiery crash on Interstate 90, reports KCPQ.

The accident happened around 3 p.m. on I-90 near milepost 63, which is about ten miles from Snoqualmie Pass, when the semi-truck crashed into a guardrail. The vehicle then caught on fire, and the driver was taken to the hospital for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The accident caused traffic delays and the closing of part of the roadway for investigation and cleanup.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
