Semi driver injured in rollover crash on I-5 NB in Tacoma
Request Free ConsultationTACOMA, WA — A truck driver was injured Thursday afternoon after a single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 5 northbound in Tacoma, according to Trooper Robert Reyer with Washington State Patrol for District 1.

The accident happened on the ramp from I-5 northbound to Interstate 705 and was reported just before 4:00 p.m.
The driver was reported to have sustained minor injuries.
WSP troopers and cews with Tacoma’s Washington State Department of Transportation responded to the scene.
The incident blocked two right lanes and caused delays in the area.
Photos shared by Trooper Reyer show what appears to be a compost truck resting on its right side along the right lane, as well as damage to the right-side guardrail.
At 6:34 p.m., the area, including the ramp and nearby 26th Street, remained closed for repairs. By 8:18 p.m., the road was reported to have reopened.
