Seattle, Washington – Two With Minor Injuries in Collision on Seneca Street and Boren Avenue

Seattle, Washington (November 9, 2019) – Two people sustained minor injuries in a crash that occurred on the corner of Seneca Street and Boren Avenue on Saturday afternoon. The patients were reported to have been taken to a hospital following the incident. While a King County Metro Access bus struck a building at the corner, no one inside the building was reported to be injured and the Seattle Fire Department has said that there was no structural damage to the building.

According to the report, the bus was heading west on Seneca Avenue when a northbound car collided with it, causing the bus to crash into the building. The incident caused all northbound lanes of Boren Avenue from University Street to Seneca Street was closed as investigation was ongoing. The street reopened around 2:30 p.m. on the same day.

In rollover collisions, the car will come to rest on its side or roof, resulting in a dangerous situation which passengers might need to be extricated from. In side collisions, the greatest risk comes to the passenger on the particular side that received the impact. No matter the type of accident, all crashes are bound to cause a dreadful situation for all involved.
