Seattle, Washington – Two People Hospitalized With Minor Injuries After Car Crashes into Store

Seattle, Washington (July 10, 2019) – Two people sustained minor injuries and were hospitalized after a car crashed into a building at 2nd Avenue and Madison Street on Wednesday. The victims, the 50 year-old driver of the car and one person inside the building, were taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. According to another report, all occupants of the shop suffered minor injuries, but only one asked to be taken to the hospital. There were no reports of other vehicles being involved in the incident.

The crash happened around 3 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon. The circumstances leading up to the crash has not been determined, but it appears that that the car drove through the window of the shop. Officials have stated that there will be a meeting with the building engineer to review the structural integrity of the walls, which will determine when the shop will reopen.
