Seattle, Washington (February 3, 2020) – At least one person was injured in a possible DUI crash involving a car and a parked truck on California Avenue Southwest and Southwest Lander Street on Monday evening. According to the report from the West Seattle Blog, a medic unit was called onto the scene to take the injured car driver to a hospital. The truck driver was reported to be across the street when the incident occurred and was not injured. The exact circumstances of the crash has not been reported, but the car appears to have truck the parked truck. The car driver will also be under investigation for possible DUI. The incident caused the northbound lane of California Avenue Southwest to be temporarily closed from the entrance of West Seattle High School to Southwest Lander Street. As of 8:21 p.m. the road was reported to have cleared.
