Seattle Fire respond to fire in storefront of 3-story building

Crews on scene at the 5900 Blk. of S. Jackson St. for a fire in a storefront unit of a three-story building. Firefighters have water on the fire.

According to Seattle Fire, they responded to the scene around 4:55 a.m. at the 5900 block of South Jackson Street. The extent of the damage done to the property is not yet clear.
No one was injured in this fire, which was under control and knocked down very soon after firefighters arrived.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Buses were temporarily rerouted while crews put out the flames.
