Seattle Fire Dept battled brush fire near I-5

SEATTLE, WA – The Seattle Fire Department responded to a brush fire burning along Interstate 5 in Georgetown on Friday afternoon, according to KOMO News.

Crews are responding to a brush fire near Airport Way S & S Lucile St. Please avoid the area @SDOTtraffic @wsdot_traffic

Crews responded to the area of Airport Way South and South Lucile Street around 2:30 p.m. They quickly had the fire under control and extinguished it that afternoon.

Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire. No one was injured in this fire.
