Sammamish, Washington – Two Injured in Car Crash Through a Pet Store

Sammamish, Washington (March 10, 2019) – An employee at the Sammamish Pet Pros was injured when a car crashed through the store on a Sunday morning. The elderly driver of the car was treated for minor injuries. The driver was trying to park in the handicap spot of the parking lot when she hit the gas by mistake, driving her over the curb and into the storefront.

The employee was standing on a stepladder inside the store when the accident happened. She was checked out shortly after the crash for her injuries. The manager was thankful that no other serious injures has happened, and stated that a few similar incidents have happened before in other Pet Pro stores she managed. The accident made her consider adding barriers outside the store.
