Renton, Washington (March 20, 2020) – A pedestrian sustained critical injuries after getting struck by a car in a hit and run collision on the 2100 block of Southwest Sunset Boulevard on Friday. According to the article from KOMO News, the pedestrian’s injuries were life-threatening. The victim was taken to a hospital and no word has been given regarding their condition. The driver fled the scene and has not yet been found.

Officers and medics responded to the scene of the crash around 3:20 p.m. The cause and circumstances of the crash were not reported, but police believe that the suspect vehicle is a navy blue Saab. The vehicle’s side mirror was torn in the collision, and the car is also believed to have front and passenger side damage. The eastbound lanes of the road were closed while investigation was ongoing, but has since reopened.
