Puyallup, Washington (June 2019) – One vehicle collided with another in an incident of a hit and run which occurred on the 3700 block of South Meridian. The hit and run has not been listed as an injury collision, and there were no mentions of injuries in the report. According to the report, the victim was driving on South Meridian when they were struck by a female suspect, who kept driving despite the efforts of the victim to catch her attention. However, as the suspect’s license plate had been obtained, contact was later made at her residence. The suspect claimed that the incident went the other way around, and stated that the victim’s vehicle had struck her. The suspect was arrested for investigation of hit and run.

The exact date of the incident has not been provided, but is recorded alongside other cases in Puyallup’s Police blotter in the date range June 11-17.

In rollover collisions, the car will come to rest on its side or roof, resulting in a dangerous situation which passengers might need to be extricated from. In side collisions, the greatest risk comes to the passenger on the particular side that received the impact. No matter the type of accident, all crashes are bound to cause a dreadful situation for all involved.
