Police search for driver responsible for 599 pileup

This is an update to a previous story.
The incident occurred shortly before 6 a.m. on February 22, north of where 599 meets I-5, when an unidentified female driver attempted to pass between a semi and another vehicle. The woman got out of her vehicle and fled the scene on foot; police believe she was picked up by another vehicle.
One person needed medical assistance following the collision.
Trooper Rick Johnson, PIO of the Washington State Patrol’s Second District, said the perpetrator will likely face charges including felony hit-and-run.
