Person hospitalized after crashing into tree on Hwy 101 in Port Angeles
Request Free ConsultationPORT ANGELES, WA (CLALLAM COUNTY) – One person was injured after colliding with a tree on Highway 101 in Port Angeles yesterday afternoon, according to the Washington State Patrol.
#ClallamCounty: The right eastbound lane of US 101 at Morse Creek in #PortAngeles is blocked due to a one-car, injury collision.
The driver lost control on the abrupt lane edge in the area, over corrected and struck a tree.

The accident occurred on eastbound Highway 101, near Morse Creek, at about 3 p.m., when a driver lost control of a grey sedan at the rough edge of a lane. The driver overcorrected the vehicle, then crashed into a tree.
The driver was taken to the hospital for the treatment of non-critical injuries.
Both eastbound lanes were blocked for about an hour as authorities investigated the crash. The roadway was reopened by 4:01 p.m.
