Pedestrian hospitalized after two-car crash on I-5 in downtown Tacoma
Request Free ConsultationPIERCE COUNTY, WA — A pedestrian was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon after a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 5 in downtown Tacoma, reports Washington State Patrol.
Earlier today at approximately 01:38 PM, there was a 2 car versus pedestrian injury collision that occurred on southbound Interstate 5 near Portland Avenue in @CityofTacoma. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital for serious injuries. Both drivers were uninjured.

The incident occurred on a span of I-5 southbound near the Portland Avenue intersection at around 1:38 p.m.
Little information has been disclosed at this time, but Trooper Robert Reyer’s tweet indicates the pedestrian was possibly struck by two vehicles.
The victim was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities confirmed the involved drivers were not injured.
