Pedestrian dead after being hit by car on I-5 in Tukwila

TUKWILA, WA – A pedestrian walking on I-5 in Tukwila was fatally struck by a driver earlier this evening, according to KIRO 7 News.

The crash happened on southbound I-5 near the Boeing Access Road before 10 p.m., when a female pedestrian walking on the interstate was hit by a driver who was not publicly identified.

Despite the attempts of medics to resuscitate the victim, who was identified only as a 55-year-old woman, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash at this time.
