Passenger suffers broken leg after alleged DUI crash in Fife

The crash happened on southbound I-5, near 54th Avenue E, before 5 a.m., when a driver crashed into a guardrail.
A passenger was taken to the hospital after suffering a broken leg.
The driver, who is suspected of having been under the influence, was brought into police custody on DUI charges.
The right two lanes of the highway were blocked as authorities worked the incident. By 8:12 a.m., the roadway was clear.
