One taken to Renton hospital after car crashes off embankment

RENTON, WA – Renton first responders transported one person to an area hospital after they crashed their car off an embankment at the 13200 block of Renton Ave S early Monday morning.

According to a tweet from the Renton Fire Department’s public information officer, the victim only sustained minor injuries. The rescue team used a rope to hoist the patient out of the embankment. It is not clear whether there was a second occupant of the vehicle. Officials did not provide more details about the cause of the accident. The accident happened around 1 a.m. Monday morning.
