One person injured during Harbor Island pin-in collision

SEATTLE, WA – One person was taken to the hospital following a single-car accident on Harbor Island this evening, according to the Seattle Fire Department.

Crews are on scene at 16th Ave SW & SW Lander St for a single vehicle collision with occupant trapped in their car. Please avoid the intersection @SDOTtraffic

The accident occurred at the intersection of SW Lander Street and 16^th Avenue SW at about 8 p.m., when a single vehicle crashed.

One person was trapped inside the wreckage for a short time. After being rescued, the victim, who has yet to be publicly identified, was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
