One flees scene after car T-bones SFD ladder truck in Pinehurst

SEATTLE, WA — One person fled the scene of a T-bone crash early Thursday involving a car and a Seattle Fire ladder truck in Seattle’s Pinehurst area, reports KOMO News.

Seattle Fire Department said its ladder 10 truck was near the intersection of 15th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 125th Street when it was T-boned by a passenger car.

Details are limited at this time, but no crew members aboard the truck were injured.

One of the two occupants in the causing car took off on foot, though authorities have not confirmed whether that person was the driver or passenger. It is also unclear whether the remaining occupant sustained injuries, but they refused to be evaluated.

An investigation into the incident by Seattle police remains in progress.
