Olympia, Washington – Two People Injured After Woman Crashes Car into Golf Carts

Olympia, Washington (August 16, 2019) – Two people were reported injured in a collision involving a car and two golf carts at the Indian Summer Golf Course on Friday afternoon. The injured people included two men from one golf cart. A golf course employee whoa was in the other cart was not injured in the accident. The driver was taken to the hospital for evaluation, with no further updates if she had been injured.

The crash happened after 2 p.m. According to the report, the woman had confronted the golfers on the course and had a verbal altercation with them. After this, the woman turned her car around and allegedly struck the two golf carts. The police then reported that the woman ran from the scene, and was located a few blocks away. Despite her attempts to resist, police took her into custody, and she will be booked for multiple felony assaults.
