OLYMPIA, WA – The Olympia Fire Department responded to a fire at a Texaco gas station Friday morning, containing it before it affected the nearby gas pumps.

The fire started in a recreational vehicle that was parked at the Texaco on Cooper Point Road and Black Lake Blvd. SW. It is not clear what caused the fire.

No one was injured by the flames, but the RV is a “total loss,” according to Olympia Fire.

Traffic in that area was temporarily barred so that emergency vehicles could navigate to the scene.
