North Bend, Washington (December 5, 2019) – A car caught on fire while being driven on the Interstate 90 in Thursday morning. Fortunately the driver was able to pull over the vehicle at the side of the road and was able to safely escape the fire. A dog was also rescued from the burning vehicle through the efforts of the deputies of the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office, who pulled over to help. No injuries were injured in the incident. However, the car was a total loss following the accident.

According to the report, the driver was heading to Oklahoma when her car caught on fire. Fortunately, around the same time deputies who were en route to Yakima noticed the fire and offered their assistance. The deputies reported that the car was fully engulfed by flames in the incident. The cause of the fire has not yet been reported.
