Nine Mile Falls, Washington – Man Dies From Injuries Sustained in Rollover Crash

Nine Mile Falls, Washington (January 1, 2020) – A man has died from injuries sustained in a rollover crash at 7-Mile ORV Park at North Inland Road. According to the report from The Spokesman-Review, the bystanders administered CPR to the driver and emergency responders later took him to the Sacred Heart Medical Center. Unfortunately, the man was confirmed to have died as of Wednesday evening. As of a report released on Thursday, the victim has been identified as Shad Bordwell, and  the Spokane County Medical Examiner has determined the cause of death to be a blunt head injury. A child passenger in the truck sustained minor injuries, but has been released.

According to the report, the victim was attending the annual Hangover Run event in the ORV Park. The incident occurred a half-mile into the park, which was said to be muddy and slick from recent weather conditions.The victim was apparently not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, but the child passenger was. It was also reported that there were o signs of impairment and the crash is accidental in nature.

It would also help to identify busy roads ad try to avoid being in their proximity to minimize any risk of a vehicle accident.
