Multiple cars involved in crash on I-5 south of SR 104

SHORELINE, WA – A multi-car accident on northbound Interstate 5 south of State Route 104 resulted in a five-mile backup Monday afternoon.

The accident occurred around 3:47 p.m. Monday, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

It is not clear how many vehicles were involved in the collision, but the incident caused a five-mile backup that held up traffic for at least an hour, according to WSDOT.

No injuries were reported.
