Multi-vehicle crash blocks 2 lanes of NB I-5 past Spokane St

SEATTLE, WA – A multi-vehicle collision blocked the two right-most lanes of I-5 northbound just north of S Spokane Street this morning, WSDOT reports.

The accident was first reported at 9:40 a.m. today. Video taken from a traffic camera at the scene shows as many as five vehicles involved, including four passenger vehicles and a box truck. A fire truck and police vehicles were soon on the scene, which was eventually cleared by 11:08 a.m.
It is not clear at this time whether anyone was injured. We will update this blog should that information become available.
