Motorist injured in two-vehicle rollover collision on SR-16 in Tacoma

TACOMA, WA – One person was injured yesterday when their vehicle was struck on the SR-16 on-ramp from Pearl Street, causing it to roll over onto its roof.

Washington State Patrol District 1 PIO Robert Reyer reported the accident at 3:11 p.m. yesterday, and said that two of the three lanes were blocked and that delays should be expected.

The driver of the struck vehicle—which photos from the scene suggest was a green crossover SUV or station wagon—was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
