SEATTLE, WA – A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital after colliding with another vehicle in southeast Seattle late last night, according to a tweet by the Seattle Police Department.

The crash occurred in the New Holly neighborhood, at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr Way S and S Holly Street at about 11:30 p.m.

While details on the collision are sparse, SPD released that a motorcyclist, who has yet to be publicly identified, was taken to the hospital for the treatment of non-critical wounds.

The collision blocked the southbound lanes of MLK Jr Way, and the Seattle DOT advised travelers to avoid the area.
