PIERCE COUNTY, WA — A 46-year-old man died Tuesday night in a collision involving a motorcycle and a sedan in the Manitou neighborhood of Tacoma, according to The News Tribune.

The accident occurred in the 6800 block of Lakewood Drive West near Meadow Park Golf Course shortly before 8:00 p.m.

A sedan was attempting a left turn from 68th Street West when the vehicle was hit by a motorcyclist. Investigators with Pierce County Sheriff’s Office believe the rider had woven around another vehicle and did not have enough time to anticipate the sedan turning.

The motorcyclist died at the scene of the accident. His identity remains undisclosed at this time.

The driver of the sedan was not reported injured. Police said the driver is not suspected of impairment.
