Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after SR-3 crash near Grapeview
Request Free ConsultationMASON COUNTY, WA — A 25-year-old Olympia man was seriously injured last Tuesday evening after his motorcycle collided with a car on state Route 3 near Grapeview, according to iFiberone.
The crash occurred on the southbound lanes of SR-3 near Mason Benson Road on August 24th at around 5;17 p.m.
Washington State Patrol said the motorcyclist was heading southbound on the highway when he decided to enter a no-passing zone in order to pass a semi. The rider collided with a northbound vehicle just as it was trying to turn left onto Mason Benson Road.
The rider was rushed to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center. His condition has not been released.
The driver of the involved vehicle, a 31-year-old Shelton resident, was not injured.
Authorities did not suspect drugs or alcohol were involved.
