Minor injuries in collision involving semi-truck, suburban on SR 2

ORONDO, WA – At least one person suffered minor injuries after a Chevrolet SUV failed to yield the right of way to a semi-truck, causing a collision on State Route 2 near mile post 140.

According to a tweet from Washington State Trooper John Bryant, the accident happened on Friday around 11:45 a.m. Some diesel fuel was spilled onto the roadway as a result of the collision. First responders cleared the scene by 2:25 p.m. It is not clear whether charges will be filed against the driver of the Chevy.
