SEATTLE, WA – A man in his 20s was killed after being struck by a train near a park in northwest Seattle late last night, according to the Seattle Fire Department.


The accident happened on Carkeek Park Road at about 10:30 p.m., when a man thought to be about 25 years old was struck by a train.

Despite the efforts of emergency crews, the victim died at the scene.

The identity of the victim is not available at this time.
