Man dead after being hit by driver in Industrial District collision

SEATTLE, WA – A person riding a scooter is dead after being hit by a driver in the Industrial District last night, according to KOMO News.

The crash happened near the intersection of S Edmunds Street and Airport Way S when a 46-year-old man riding a scooter was struck by a driver.

Despite the interventions of emergency crews, the victim was pronounced dead after the crash.

The driver remained at the scene and is not suspected of having been under the influence.
