Man critically injured in pedestrian collision near south Everett

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A man was hospitalized Thursday evening after being struck by a driver while crossing a road in the Cascade View area of south Everett, according to KIRO 7 News.

The crash happened on Evergreen Way at 4th Avenue West and was first reported by Everett Police shortly after 7:40 p.m.

Details are limited, but authorities said the male pedestrian was crossing southbound when a car hit him in the roadway.

The victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital, where his condition remains undisclosed.

Police said the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with responding officers.
