Late-night crash on I-5 blocks Thorne Ln overpass in Lakewood

LAKEWOOD, WA – A collision on I-5 blocked an overpass in Lakewood late last night, according to the WSDOT Tacoma.

Collision on I-5 NB at MP 123.58 near Thorne Ln SW beginning at 11:09 pm on May 1, 2021 until further notice. The Thorne Ln SW overpass is blocked.

The collision occurred on northbound I-5, near milepost 123.58 and Thorne Lane SW at 11:09 p.m.

The Thorne Ln overpass was blocked as a result of the crash. The roadway was cleared by 11:58 p.m.

It was not clear what led to the crash or if anyone was injured.
