NORTH BEND, WA – Authorities were forced to close the westbound lanes of I-90 following over a dozen crashes in the North Bend area on Saturday, according to KOMO News.

The roadways were closed near milepost 38 at about 3:25 p.m. due to 15 collisions in the area. Three of those accidents involved an overturned vehicle.

The extent of possible injuries was not immediately reported.

The vehicle of a State Trooper was struck two separate times during the series of collisions, while a second officer’s car was hit once.

No further details are available at this time.
