I-5 southbound lane blocked by collision near Yakima Ave.

TACOMA, WA – The right lane of Interstate 5 southbound near South Yakima Avenue was blocked Thursday evening.

Collision on I-5 SB at milepost 133.2 near S Yakima Ave beginning at 9:14 pm on July 2, 2020 until further notice. The right lane is blocked.

According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, the accident occurred around 9:14 p.m.

The right lane of the interstate was blocked while crews worked to clear the scene.

No injuries were reported. Updates will be posted as more information becomes available.
