Fire in residential area threatens two Federal Way homes
Request Free ConsultationFEDERAL WAY, WA – South King Fire and Rescue responded to a 2-alarm house fire on the 300 block of South 302nd Place overnight Monday that threatened to spread to a second home.
According to South Sound News, fire crews arrived on the scene around 11:30 p.m. and began an offensive attack. Because winds exacerbated the fire, South King Fire called in Puget Sound Fire and Valley Regional Fire Authority to assist.
Within 20 minutes, crews knocked down the fire. No one was injured, but five people from the two homes affected were displaced. The second home sustained some damage to the garage. The extent of the damage to the first home is unclear.
