Everett, Washington – Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Getting Struck by Car

Everett, Washington (August 7, 2019) – A pedestrian sustained serious injuries after getting struck by a car at Gibson Road and Highway 99 on Wednesday morning. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment. There has been no word regarding the current condition of the victim. The car driver was not reported to be injured and has been arrested.

The incident happened on the southbound lanes of Highway 99, with troopers responding to the scene around 6:15 a.m. The circumstances leading up to the crash has not been detailed, but responders found the victim on the scene with serious injuries. Investigation on the accident is ongoing. The accident caused one lane to be blocked.
