Everett, Washington – One Dead After Being Dragged by Vehicle

Everett, Washington (May 25, 2019) – A woman was found dead at 13th street and Grand Avenue after apparently being dragged by a vehicle on Saturday night. Responding medics performed CPR on the victim, but she couldn’t be revived and was pronounced dead in the hospital.

According to investigators, the victim was found around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. The official cause of death as well as the woman’s identity has not yet been released by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office. Police are currently looking for more information about the vehicle which was involved the incident.

Lately, distractions also cause accidents not only for drivers, but also pedestrians, specifically those who are using their phones while crossing the road. We urge everyone to exercise area awareness at all times and to keep their attention on the road. Avoiding accidents not only prevents loss, damage, injuries and death to one’s self, but also on other people in the surroundings.
