Duvall, Washington (June 13, 2019) – The driver of one vehicle was hospitalized after an accident involving three cars on State Route 203, north of Northeast Cherry Valley Road on Thursday evening. The driver was taken to Providence General Hospital in Everett. The extent of his injuries has not been provided.

According to investigators, the car that the injured man was driving crossed the center line, resulting in two other crashes. One of the vehicles that was struck went into a ditch, and another car was collided with head-on. It has not been detailed if there other injuries in the accident. The crash caused State Route 203 to be closed in both directions. The crash is under investigation.

In rollover collisions, the car will come to rest on its side or roof, resulting in a dangerous situation which passengers might need to be extricated from. In side collisions, the greatest risk comes to the passenger on the particular side that received the impact. No matter the type of accident, all crashes are bound to cause a dreadful situation for all involved.
